Altidore ends slump, scores twice in AZ win

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Jozy Altidore scored two goals in the first half -- his 10th and 11th goals in the Dutch Eredivisie -- to lead AZ to a 2-1 win at FC Zwolle, ending AZ's six-game winless streak in league play. The goals were his first for AZ in more than a month.

-- Suspended Jermaine Jones' Schalke 04 lost 3-1 to Freiburg, prompting the German club to fire Dutch coach Huub Stevens.

-- Sebastian Lletget, 20, dressed for English Premier League club West Ham United for the second time in its 0-0 tie at West Bromwich Albion.
