[AMERICANS ABROAD] Stoke City's 3-1 over Liverpool on Boxing Day extended its unbeaten streak to eight games and moved it into eighth place in the English Premier League, but Geoff Cameron's yellow card means he'll be suspended for Saturday's game at Southampton. Goalkeepers Tim Howard and Brad Guzan had mixed fortunes on Boxing Day.

Howard ran his streak of conceding one goal to seven straight games as fifth-place Everton beat Wigan, 2-1.

After conceding eight goals to Chelsea, Guzan gave up four more goals as Aston Villa fell to Tottenham, 4-0. Spurs' Clint Dempsey remained sidelined with a groin injury.
