[AMERICANS ABROAD] Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona went the distance for Tijuana as the Xolos, winners of the Torneo Apertura, beat Leon, 1-0, to open the Liga MX's Torneo Clausura in Mexico with two wins in two games. Herculez Gomez started for Santos in its 2-0 win over Guadalajara. Americans were winless in the English Premier League. In Italy, Michael Bradley's Roma dropped its second game since returning from Florida when it fell at Catania, 1-0.
