[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] U-15 nominee Nkosi Burgess showed incredible touch, skill and improvisation during his submission for 2012 US Youth Soccer Goal of the Year, and its one of many worthy entrants up for consideration.

The voting for US Youth Soccer Goal and Save of the year has been closed, and the winners will be announced this Friday at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala in Indianapolis, and live via twitter @USYouthSoccer.

The 10 nominees in each category included boys and girls from U-11 to U-17 teams, and an impressive collection remained after all the submissions were culled. See them all HERE.

The best way to encourage you to review all the nominees may be by telling you that this golazo by young Mr. Burgess of the Dix Hills Heat, scored against Hauppauge Brazil on Long Island last April, isn’t a shoo-in under the best goal category.
