[AWARDS] Girls high school coaches from California, Florida and Oklahoma earned NSCAA/Field Turf Coach of the Year honors at the annual awards ceremony at the NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis.

Coaches of the Year:
Girls High School D-I: Randy Dodge, Aliso Niguel High School (Calif.)

Dodge, who has spent more than 20 years with the Aliso Niguel High School girls and boys teams, led the girls to a 22-1-5 record and Southern California regional title in 2012.

Girls High School D-II: Steve Burgess, American Heritage School (Fla.)

Burgess led the Patriots to their eighth consecutive appearance in the state championship final, where they beat Bolles, 5-0, to capture the title for the third straight year.

Girls Private/Parochial: Troy Tokarchik, Bishop Kelley High School (Okla.)

A 4-1 win over Newcastle High gave Tokarchik his 13th state championship in the past 14 years with the Comets, who moved the program up from 5A level to 6A.
