The Guardian is reporting that Manchester United will sign 20-year-old Wilfried Zaha for $19 million from Crystal Palace before the end of the week with the aim of loaningthe winger back to the Championship club for the remainder of the season. Palace, which is embroiled in a push for promotion to the Premier League, has told would-be suitors that Zaha is not for saleduring the January transfer window, but United appears to have found a solution in loaning the player back to his current club until the end of the year.

Alex Ferguson hasnot traveled with his squad for the quick trip to Qatar this week so he can finalize the deal for Zaha, who is considered one of the hottest young prospects in England right now. The Guardianunderstands that Crystal Palace coach Ian Holloway could request that two more United players be loaned to the London club to aid their push for Premier League promotion. Palace iscurrently fourth in the npower Championship table, two points away from an automatic promotion place.
