[AMERICANS ABROAD]  Jozy Altidore continued his hot streak for Dutch club AZ with his fourth goal in two games since the winter break in its 4-1 victory at VVV. He has scored 15 league goals for the season, matching his 2011-12 total. Clint Dempsey scored his fifth goal in five games, but it will be his multiple misses on scoring opportunities that will be remembered from Tottenham's 2-1 loss at Leeds United that knocked it out of the English FA Cup. Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona started for Tijuana and Jose Torres started for Tigres as their clubs won improved to 4-0-0 in Mexico's Liga MX.
