[AMERICANS ABROAD] Three Americans expected to start in Wednesday's Honduras-USA World Cup 2014 qualifier played in midweek English Premier League action. Tim Howard's Everton beat West Bromwich Albion, 2-1, to move into fifth place, one point behind Clint Dempsey's Tottenham, which tied Norwich City, 1-1. On Tuesday, Geoff Cameron's Stoke City tied Wigan, 2-2.

Howard has now gone unbeaten in his last six games with Everton.

Dempsey, who scored five goals in his first five games this year for Spurs, started and played 71 minutes before leaving the game.

Cameron returned to the starting lineup after sitting out Stoke's weekend FA Cup match.
