[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] An epic coast-to-coast gallop in Italy by 19-year-old Ezekiel Isoken Henty, who sprinted past, and ran over, the Varane defense for AC Milan's Primavera team.

Henty’s run came for Milan’s U-19 team, started on a corner and began in his own box, making it inevitable that people would begin comparing it to Liberian legend George Weah’s celebrated sprint for AC Milan in 1996. That hyperbole is instant analysis run amok --- but it does give us an excuse to watch Weah’s classic run.

Henty exploded out of his own box without subtlety, pushing the ball using size, strength and blinding speed, and when he finally meets some resistance the Nigerian absolutely tramples the overmatched last defender, prior to a nice finish.

It’s not like Weah’s, but what is, this precocious teen with the fantastic name just made the run of a lifetime ...

There's a mistake in the first paragraph--it should say "Varese defense". With as spectacular as Varane has been, I would hope he hasn't been relegated to losing against Milan's U-19s ;)
