First red card already given for Hexagonal - heard Jermaine Jones got one even before the plane left!

Not many surprises with this crew. Glad to see that the captain, Kyle Beckerman, was left off the roster. He's awful at the international level: too slow defensively and can't make a pass (forward) offensively. Chandler will see the field (unless he fakes food poisoning at his agent's request) so that he becomes cap-tied and the whole which nation do I want to play for issue goes away for good.

I'd like to see a Gonzalez-Cameron duo start to gel in the back. It would be great to have a wall back there that we can count on going all the way to next summer having time to gel and get used to playing together.

My hopeful line-up: Chandler-Gonzalez-Cameron-Fabian on defense. Edu holding mid. Bradley central mid. Zusi/Kljestan R/L mid. Altidore-Dempsey forwards.

Still dreaming of the day when i no longer see Jermaine Jones' name on the roster. For now all i can hope for is he doesn't see the field. Waste of a roster spot. On the other hand kudos for the inclusion of Parkhurst, a name that rarely gets mentioned because of his size but is deserved because of his skill and smarts.

goalie: Howard. Back line: Cherundolo, Marcelo Balboa, Carla Overbeck, (Ghost of)Harry Keough. Midfield: Bradley, Harkes, Reyna or Ramos. Up front: Dempsey, Mia Hamm or Alex Morgan(we need goal scorers)

Ha,ha! Your a funny guy Jason. Don't forget about Clint Mathis, and John O'Brien at mid. Wait, I forgot Johnny O is out with an injury. So I'm going to have to sub O'Brien for Cobi Jones. And let's put my boy Waldo up top with McHead.

Howard in net F. Johnson on left Bocanegra/Cameron center backs Chandler on right Williams holding mid Bradley center Zusi on right E. Johnson on left Dempsey/Altidore up top Get Gonzalez a little more experience when possible. Wait for Donovan's return. And Stu Holden makes a big comeback.

Jason, you're right about what we need. Let's give Gaetjens the nod over Dempsey.

Howard, Bocanegra, Cameron, Chandler, Johnson, Bradley, Zusi, Jones, Torres, Dempsey, Gomez Evans, Gonzalez, Davis & Williams are off the bench...maybe Altidore & Johnson up front. They both tend to be lazy and they don't work very hard for the ball. Eddie is pretty good in the air and when the midfield figures out that you need to feed Jozy a thru-ball on the ground and let him turn and shoot, they'll see good results.

Jason Bay is obviously making a joke but he's almost dead on. Howard is good but none better than Keller and you should not forget Wynalda & McBride. They were true strikers with proven results. The entire list included players that were tough as nails [unlike the existing group] and gave 110%, game in and game out. Those players are the ones you want to wear the US jersey. Full and total commitment!

OK, I'll play along with my choices too for what they're worth (nothing)! I'm thinking Klinsi will go with a 4-2-3-1 since he's playing away with 3 days to get ready in a very hostile environment: Howard; Chandler, Cameron, Bocanegra, F.Johnson; Jones, Bradley; Zusi, Dempsey, E. Johnson; Gomez

This should freak a few out! Dempsey Gomez Bradley Davis Zusi Williams Johnson Boca Cameron Parkhurst Howard Think about it: a Team actually committed to going forward, staying wide (not constantly cutting in like Johnson), and able to combine on the flanks with speed! Not to mention the service Davis & Zusi can provide to two finishers up top and on set pieces! (yes, Davis is over the jitters) And the best team of players not likely to get knocked off the ball a la Torres.

Try that again: ---------Dempsey------Gomez----------- ---------------Bradley---------------- Davis-----------------------------Zusi --------------Williams---------------- Johnson----Boca----Cameron----Parkhurst ---------------Howard------------------ If that doesn't work, ah the hell with it!
