[NWSL] The Portland Thorns announced the signing of midfielders Becky Edwards, Allie Long and Nikki Washington and defender Nikki Marshall, while the Washington Spirit announced its first two free agents with the signing of former Virginia goalkeeper Chantel Jones and Georgetown midfielder Ingrid Wells. Only Marshall didn't spent time abroad in 2012.
