Beasley scores two late goals, Bobby Wood grabs goal and assist

[AMERICANS ABROAD] DaMarcus Beasley came off the bench to score two late goals and give Puebla a 3-1 win San Luis in Mexico's Liga MX.  Jose Torres started for unbeaten Tigres in its 4-1 win at Toluca that kept it in first place. For the first time in the Torneo Clausura, Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona tasted defeat as Tijuana fell, 2-1, at home to Club America. (The Xolos held a 30-5 advantage in shots.)

-- Bobby Wood,
the 20-year-old forward who only returned to the 1860 Munich first team in November after beginning the 2012-13 season with its second team, had a goal and an assist in its 3-1 win at German second division rival Duisburg to continue his hot form for the Lions.

-- U.S. national team players Clint Dempsey (Tottenham), Maurice Edu (Bursaspor), Brad Guzan (Aston Villa) and Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht) were back in action and won their games in Europe over the weekend. Kljestan re-signed with Anderlecht through 2016.

-- Michael Parkhurst made his Bundesliga debut on Sunday, coming on late in the first half of Augsburg's 1-1 tie with Mainz.
