[AMERICANS ABROAD] Mix Diskerud will remain in Norway after all. The U.S. national team midfielder signed a two-year
deal with Rosenborg, the club he joined from Stabaek for the second half of the 2012 Norwegian season.
Diskerud became a free agent but a reported move to MLS and the Portland Timbers
fell through. He attended the January national team camp in January but did not suit up for the Canada game in Houston.
He played four seasons in Norway for Stabaek before moving on loan
to Belgian club Gent for the second half of the 2011-12 season.
Born in Norway to an American mother and Norwegian father, Diskerud has three caps for the USA and scored his first goal in
the 2-2 with Russia in November.
