[AWARDS] Senior midfielders Dan Glascock (Lafayette, Calif., Acalanes) and Nicole Newton (Baton Rouge, La., Episcopal) have been selected as the NSCAA High School Players of the Week.

Glascock scored a goal and produced four assists in his last three games as the Dons capped off an undefeated regular season by winning a third consecutive Diablo Foothill Athletic League championship.

Newton scored five goals in her first two playoff games, leading her team to consecutive 8-0 victories. The three-time All-State midfielder finished the regular season with 36 goals and 19 assists. She committed to Birmingham Southern last week.

Other male finalists included Mason Wilson from St. Thomas High School (Houston, Texas) and Lumi Kaba from Robert E. Lee High School (Tyler, Texas).
