Altidore sets career high with 21st goal

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Jozy Altidore scored his 16th of the Dutch Eredivisie and 21st in all competitions -- a career high -- with a shot from outside the area in AZ's 2-2 tie with Roda JC. On the national team front, Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht) and Timmy Chandler (Nuremberg) both had assists, while Danny Williams returned to the Hoffenheim starting lineup and Carlos Bocanegra again did not dress for Spanish second division straggler Racing Santander. Arizona native Ventura Alvarado made his Mexican league debut, coming on as a late sub in Club America's 2-2 tie with Toluca.
