USA and Costa Rica clinch quarterfinal berths

[CONCACAF UNDER-20 CHAMPIONSHIP] The USA moved a step closer to reaching the 2013 Under-20 World Cup in Turkey when Costa Rica's 1-0 win over Haiti assured the USA and Costa Rica of places in the quarterfinals. The USA will win Group A with a win or tie when it plays the Ticos Friday in Puebla, Mexico.

The USA will face Cuba, Canada or Nicaragua Tuesday in the quarterfinals. Cuba clinched the Group B title with a 1-0 win over Nicaragua. Canada just needs a tie against Nicaragua Friday to finish second.

The four quarterfinal winners will advance to Turkey '13.
