[VIDEO PICK: Giggsy] A fantastic two-minute tribute from the BBC gives Ryan Giggs' remarkable career the respect it deserves as the Manchester
United legend is poised to play his 1,000th game on Saturday.
Giggs, 39, made his EPL debut in 1991, scored a Premier League goal in all 23 seasons at Old Trafford, owns 12 EPL titles and
two Champions League trophies.
He made 64 appearances for Wales, four for Team GB this summer at the Olympics and an unbelievable 931 at United. Playing on Saturday at Norwich City -- as
expected -- would make 1,000 appearances for club or country.
Always acting in a manner befitting his illustrious career, one doesn’t have to love the Red Devils in order to
appreciate Ryan Giggs. This video captures it beautifully and includes a gracious appearance from George Best -- we simply can’t top that.
We’ll just add our
admiration for the timeless Mr. Giggs, congratulations …
