Concacaf Under-20 Championship Best XI

[AWARDS] Three Americans -- Luis Gil, Jose Villarreal and Wil Trapp -- joined six Mexicans -- including FC Dallas keeper keeper Richard Sanchez -- and one Salvadoran and Panamanian on the  2013 Concacaf Under-20 Championship’s Best XI. Mexican captain Antonio Briseno was named the tournament’s MVP.

The Best XI were selected by CONCACAF’s Technical Study Group.

Goalkeeper: Richard Sanchez (Mexico)
Right back: Francisco Flores (Mexico)
Right center back: Hedgardo Marin (Mexico)
Left center back: Antonio Briseño (Mexico)
Left back: Bernardo Hernandez (Mexico)
Center midfield: Jose Carlos Van Rankin (Mexico)
Center midfield: Wil Trapp (United States)
Right midfield: Jairo Henriquez (El Salvador)
Left midfield: Luis Gil (United States)
Forward: Amet Ramirez (Panama)

    I thought Cuevas had the best tournament of our players, but I guess pulling out with the injury disqualified him from Best XI? What do you think?

    Yes sir. Cuevas defenitely a top 11. I think Joya as well.
