[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] One of the most unbelievable scenes we've ever spotted on a soccer field occurred during league play in Kazakhstan when a referee forced a player to take a corner kick in water deep enough to test out his scuba gear.

This footage is simply amazing, and one of the first things you'll notice is a giant truck that doesn’t look entirely sanitary draining water just yards away from where the referee directs a player to take the corner.

With the ball literally floating, the player, reasonably it would seem, tosses it into play, but the official’s having none of it. The player gets a teammate, and together they put it into play ingeniously, before the game is watered down once more.
