[GOLD CUP] The USA will play Belize for the first time ever when it opens play at the 2013 Gold Cup July 9 at Portland's Jeld-Wen Field. It will also face Cuba and Costa Rica in Group C. For the complete the Gold Cup schedule ...

The USA will face Cuba at Rio Tinto Stadium, home of Real Salt Lake, in the second group match on July 13. It will finish group play in East Hartford, Conn., against Costa Rica three days later at Rentschler Field.

Belize's fourth-place finish at the 2013 Copa Centroamericana was its best finish at the regional championship and qualified it for the Gold Cup for the first time.

The Jaguars took advantage of Guatemala's failure to win any of its three group games and finished second in its group to clinch a berth in the Gold Cup.

They did not play their first international match until 1995 and did not play their first World Cup qualifier until the next year.

If the USA advances out of the group stage in first or second place, its quarterfinal match would take place July 21 at M&T Bank Field in Baltimore. A third-place finish in Group C would see the USA at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on July 20.

The semifinals will be held July 24 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and the Gold Cup final will be hosted at Chicago's Soldier Field on July 28.

The USA has reached the final of the last four Gold Cups, winning in 2005 and 2007 and losing to Mexico in 2009 and 2011.
