Keeper hitches a ride on a motorcycle

[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] A goalkeeper found an ingenious new way to get involved in the attack and quickly race back on defense using a hilarious assist from a chauffeur on two wheels during a game in Brazil earlier this month.

Now on to Brazil, where all teams participating in qualifying hope to be playing in 2014, and home to many of soccer’s greatest innovations. This latest one looks like it might catch on with goalkeepers, but probably not groundskeepers.

The keeper, wearing yellow, comes up for a late equalizer and after losing possession he hops on the back of his buddy’s waiting motorcycle which races him back to defend his own goal, as the cameraman and his friends howl with laughter.

Not so sure this would’ve worked in Denver on Friday ...
