[DALLAS CUP] The LA Galaxy academy team fell to English club Fulham U-19s, 2-1, in their second match in the 2013 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup Super Group.
Foals by Lasse Vigen Christensen and Jordan Evans gave the Cottagers a two-goal lead, but the Galaxy cut the deficit to 2-1 with 15 minutes to play when Drew Murphy scored his second goal of the tournament on a penalty kick.
The Fulham roster includes Dallas product Emerson Hyndman, the grandson of FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman.
The Galaxy, who opened with a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, wraps up group play against Coritiba of Brazil on Thursday.
Fulham is one of three teams to sweep their first two games. Manchester United (a 3-1 winner over the Dallas Texans) and Kashiwa Reysol of Japan have six points in Group A.
United had opened up play with a 2-0 win over Club America Sunday night before an estimated 15,000 at the Cotton Bowl.
