[HOME DEPOT CENTER CAMP] The U.S. under-17 men’s national team’s ’97s — the younger of the two-year age group — beat the U.S. under-15 boysnational team — a year younger — in a pair of matches during their camp at the Home Depot Center.

In the opener, D.J. Villegas and Pablo Palaez scored goals in the 56th and 62nd minutes for a 2-0 lead and an eventual 2-1 victory. Hugo Arellano had the lonetally for the U-15s in the 65th minute.

In the second game, four different U-17 players — Amirgy Pineda, Rigoberto Rojas, Jorge Ruiz and Brooks Lennon — scored during a 4-2 victory. Haji Wright and Lagos Kunga each had a goal for the U-15s.
