[HOME DEPOT CENTER CAMP] The U.S. under-17 men’s national team’s ’97s -- the younger of the two-year age group -- beat the U.S. under-15 boys national team -- a year younger -- in a pair of matches during their camp at the Home Depot Center.

In the opener, D.J. Villegas and Pablo Palaez scored goals in the 56th and 62nd minutes for a 2-0 lead and an eventual 2-1 victory. Hugo Arellano had the lone tally for the U-15s in the 65th minute.

In the second game, four different U-17 players -- Amirgy Pineda, Rigoberto Rojas, Jorge Ruiz and Brooks Lennon -- scored during a 4-2 victory. Haji Wright and Lagos Kunga each had a goal for the U-15s.
