[MAKING A LIST] Major League Soccer scoring is down. The average of 2.24 goals per game is lower than the season average in any of the previous 17 seasons. But it was also down at the same point last year -- 2.34 goals per game -- before climbing to 2.68, the highest season-ending average in four years.
