Q&A with the SA Editors: Aug. 27, 1999
August 27th, 1999 12AM

Ray Sadr Storrs, Conn. I have been looking for the book "Pele, My life and the Beautiful Game," which is Pele's autobiography. No one seems to have it and they say it is out of print, since it was published in the late 1970s. Do you know of any source that would help me buy this book? Mike Woitalla The book you are referring to, Ray, was published in 1977 and co-authored by Robert L. Fish. My colleague, senior editor Scott French, said he read it when he was 16 and considered it his favorite book at that time. Indeed, it's hard to imagine a soccer fan not enjoying this detailed account of the world's greatest player. And the good news is that you should be able to purchase it through for $7.11 plus shipping and handling.
