[AMERICANS ABROAD] Jozy Altidore can do it all -- at least for Dutch club AZ. He scored two goals -- the second a golazo on a free kick -- to become the first American to score 30 goals in all competitions for a foreign club, and he added an assist on a nifty back heel in AZ's 4-0 win over Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie. For video of his free-kick goal and assist ...

2012-13 Leading Scorers:
30+2 Jozy Altidore (AZ)
16 Terrence Boyd (Rapid Vienna)
11 Clint Dempsey (Tottenham)
11 Herculez Gomez (Santos)
Note: goals for players (top-level leagues only) in all competitions.

Altidore Goal #2

Heerenveen AZ Alkmaar 0-4 Altidore 2 by Counterpoint1
Altidore Assist:

Heerenveen AZ Alkmaar Gudmundsson by Counterpoint1

I'm glad to see Altidore is coming into his own, but these videos are a pain; a 30 second commercial to watch a 22 second highlight, which doesn't even show the free kick??? The second video is better. I don't mind watching commercials (since I recognize that somebody has to have an incentive to allow the posting of the videos), but they must be in proportion to the time of the video.
