[U.S. UNDER-20 MEN] The U.S. under-20 national team wrapped up its weeklong camp at the Home Depot Center with a 6-2 win over Eric Wynalda‘s Cal FC. Akron freshman Alfred Koroma, who did not take part in qualifying for the Under-20 World Cup, scored two goals and had anassist off the bench, and the Chicago Fire’s Victor Pineda, who was injured and also missed Concacaf qualifying, scored for the U-20s.

Koromascored the game-winner in the 68th minute to give the U-20s a 3-0 lead. Cal FC, a last-minute replacement for Chivas USA’s reserves, responded with back-to-back goals to cut the U-20s’ lead to 3-2,but Benji Joya, Dillon Serna and Koroma scored three late goals from the 88th minute into second-half stoppage time toseal the victory.

The University of North Carolina’s Danny Garcia also scored for Tab Ramos‘ U-20s in theteam’s last domestic camp before the Tournoi de Toulon in France in May.

DeAndre Yedlin, the starting right back for the Seattle Sounders, startedfor the U-20s. Jeffrey Payeras, who signed with Guatemala’s Municipal out of the LA Galaxy, went the distance at center back next to Javan Torre, who played in Concacaf qualifying at center back and left back.
