USA and host Italy play to 0-0 tie

[TROFEO DELLE NAZIONI] The highly rated U.S. under-15 boys national team played host Italy to a scoreless draw Tuesday in their opening game at the Trofeo Della Nazioni in Gradisca, Italy.

The USA controlled much of the match but was unable to capitalize on some close chances. It will play Chile on Thursday and Slovenia on Friday to wrap up group play.

The first three games will be played with 30-minute halves, with the semifinal and final having 40-minute halves.
