Dwyer breaks scoring record in nine games

[USL PRO REWIND: Week 9] It took only nine games, but Englishman Dom Dwyer, on loan from Sporting Kansas City, broke the Orlando City single-season scoring record with his 11th and 12 goals of the season in its 2-2 tie the Harrisburg City Islanders in their top-of-the-table clash at Skyline Sports Complex Friday night. It was Dwyer's fourth straight multiple-goal game.

Gambian forward Sainey Touray opened the scoring for Harrisburg with his fifth goal of the season, but Dwyer responded with a rocket on a free kick from 23 yards and a goal from close range for first-place Orlando.

But Harrisburg’s Yann Ekra scored on an individual effort to tie the match at 2-2 in the 72nd minute.
