[AMERICANS ABROAD] Clarence Goodson started for Brondby, which beat Horsens, 1-0, to stay up in the Danish Superliga. A loss would have leapfrogged Horsens over Brondby on the final day of the season. Conor O'Brien scored the winning goal for FC Nordsjaelland in its 1-0 over Esbjerg.

Goodson finished with two goals in 19 games -- the fewest appearances he has made in a full season since moving to Scandinavia in 2008.

The goal was the first O'Brien has scored for FC Nordsjaelland since moving from Sonderjyske in January.

FC Nordsjaelland finished second in the Superliga and will advance to the UEFA Champions League.

Charlie Davies made his third start of the season for FC Randers in its 2-2 tie at AaB. He went scoreless in 23 appearances.
