[VIDEO PICK: Off the Post] An 18-year-old goalkeeper in Moldova tossed the ball straight into his own net last week in a one-goal loss, offering a late contender for worst own goal of the season just 10 minutes into his first game.

Radu Mitu may end up hearing about his awful gaff during Milsami-Ursidos’ 2-1 loss to Rapid Ghidighici in Moldova’s first division for the rest of his life. Mitu was born in Orhei, where Milsami is based.

There’s no sugarcoating this one, although Mitu’s coach seemed to take the epic blunder in stride and consoled him afterward.
