[DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY GOLEADORES] Yaw Amankwa scored twice in the last three minutes to secure 3-2 win for Baltimore Bays Chelsea over McLean and move him among the top 8 scorers in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy’s U-17/18 age group.

The Bays lead the East Conference’s Atlantic Division and are headed to the Academy Playoffs June 24-27 at FC Dallas Park.

Vancouver’s Yassin Essa scored his 18th goal of the season when the Whitecaps beat Cal Odyssey, 4-1, on Sunday, a day after scoring his 17th in a 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.

Essa’s teammate Brody Huitema remains atop the leading scorers' list.
