Taylor instrumental in Flash's third win in a row

[NWSL REWIND: Week 8] Defender Brittany Taylor assisted on goals by Abby Wambach and captain McCall Zerboni as the Western New York Flash rallied from a goal down to pick up its third straight win, a 2-1 victory over the winless Chicago Red Stars, in front of 3,152 fans Friday night at Sahlen’s Stadium.

-- The mark marked Carli Lloyd's first start of the season for the Flash, which now embarks on a four-game road trip before returning to Rochester on June 23. Lori Chalupny had put Chicago ahead with her second goal of the year in the 52nd minute.

-- Red Stars left back Rachel Quon earned a callup to the Canada national team for its much-anticipated game against the USA June 2 in Toronto. Quon, one of 14 NWSL players called into the Canada team, played her college ball for Stanford and represented the USA at the Under-20 World Cup. She becomes the third Cardinal American to switch allegiances. Teresa Noyola (Seattle Reign FC) and Alina Garciamendez (FFC Frankfurt) play for Mexico.

-- Seattle, winless in seven games, expects its biggest crowd of the season for its game against Portland. Thorns star Alex Morgan played last season in the W-League for the Seattle Sounders Women.

How did Quon 'switch' allegiances? She was born in Canada.
