[AMERICANS ABROAD] Terrence Boyd scored his 17th goal in all competitions for Rapid Vienna with the final goal in a 3-0 win over SV Ried in the Austrian Bundesliga season finale. Fabian Johnson's Hoffenheim survived its Bundesliga promotion/relegation playoff, beating Kaiserslautern for a second time, 2-1, to win the series, 5-2, on aggregate.

-- Michael Bradley's Roma fell to Lazio, 1-0, in the Coppa Italia final and will miss out on European play in 2013-14.

-- Freddy Adu made his Campeonato Brasileiro debut as a late sub for Bahia in 3-1 loss to Criciuma on opening day.

    Hey Paul: This is the second time I'm bringing "research" to your attention. FAS played Firpo in the El Salvadorian First Division Championship...there is a former US-U20 International who now starts for El Salvador. You will see him in the Gold Cup. Also, there is another American in the Russian Premier League. You can do the rest...that's why you get $$$! Peter

    Hey Paul...just noticed something in the title, "Hoffenheim stays up." What does "stays up" mean? United States Soccer is the most "hypocritical" on the planet wouldn't you agree? I've suggested to you before...why don't you report on what "Stays up" means? An in depth analysis on how to create a "promotion/relegation system in United States Professional Soccer! People say it will never happen...never say never!
