[NWSL SCHEDULE: Week 8] Abby Wambach continued her hot streak as Australian Samantha Kerr and she each had a goal and an assist to lead the Western New York Flash to a 3-0 win at first-place Sky Blue FC before 2,056 fans Saturday night. Sky Blue FC came into the game with a five-game winning streak. Both its losses have come to the Flash.

The game was the third in seven days for Wambach, whose six goals are tied for the NWSL lead with Alex Morgan. She had two assists in the USA's 3-0 win over Canada in Toronto and had a goal in the Flash's 2-2 tie at Boston on Wednesday.
