[NASL REWIND: Week 11] Salvadoran international Richie Menjivar scored from the penalty spot in stoppage time to earn the visiting Atlanta Silverbacks a 1-0 victory over the Fort Lauderdale Strikers that moved them into first place at least temporarily in the race for the spring championship.

Hans Denissen's goal in the dying seconds gave the San Antonio Scorpions a 2-1 win at Tampa Bay that left the defending champion Rowdies facing elimination in the spring season race if the Carolina RailHawks beat host FC Edmonton on Sunday.

Blake Wagner put the visitors ahead in the 37th minute, but the Rowdies leveled in the 80th minute thanks to a powerful header from Carl Cort.

The game drew 4,595 fans.
