USA-Spain kicks off ESPN coverage

[SOCCER ON TV] ESPN2 will kick off coverage of the Under-20 World Cup Friday with the USA-Spain Group A match at Ali Sami Yen Arena in Istanbul. The match will be broadcast at 1:45 p.m. ET, live on ESPN2 and WatchESPN. For the weekend U-20 World Cup TV schedule ...

That is followed by a June 24 game against France in Istanbul, live on ESPN2 and WatchESPN at 10:45 a.m. ET. The U.S. closes out group play with a June 27 match against Ghana at Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri at 12:45 p.m. ET, live on ESPNU and WatchESPN.

The Mexico opener and final will air on ESPN, and ESPNU will broadcast 21 games, including the quarterfinals and semifinals, and the

All games will also be available live and on replay on computers, smartphones and tablets via WatchESPN.

ESPN play-by-play commentators Adrian Healey and Max Bretos and analysts Taylor Twellman and Monica Gonzalez will be calling the action from all U.S. and Mexico matches. The networks will utilize the English-language world feed and commentators provided by FIFA for the remaining games.
