[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] A beautiful team goal during World Cup qualifying early this month saw the visiting Slovenians produce a poetic passing clinic in their 4-2 win in Iceland.

This wasn’t exactly a high-profile matchup, although Iceland would be second behind Albania in this group if it had won this game, but great golazos can’t hide from Al Gore’s internet.

The best team goals often build up to a crescendo, this one starts as if on a slow boil, but once a couple direct passes spring the Slovenians into the final third its show time, which includes a back-heel to lay it off for the great finish.

The music accompanying this palate-cleansing passing exhibition comes from the same people who supply all the shops with yoga mats on the wall, which sell scented oils and eternal happiness. It goes well with hot tea ...

Thank you for providing clips of "team goals." I find them more in the spirit of soccer than the "one-person-goals" that are mostly what people label "great goals." For me, the team goals are greater.

I agree. Team goals showing successful teamwork, tactics (especially off-the-ball movement), and technical acuity are magic! Show more of these and we can use them as case studies for our American youth.

Unfortunately, the music kills the spectacle here.

    Reminds me of Spain...
