[REGION III CHAMPIONSHIPS] Florida won three boys titles and Georgia captured two boys and two girls titles at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region III Championships in Edmond, Okla.

Florida's Sunrise Elite defeated FC Dallas Premier, 3-0, in the under-15 boys final on goals by Emmanuel Perez, Lucas Deoliveira and Donald Emersonto win its second straight Region III championship and return to the National Championships after finishing as runner-up in 2012. Because Sunrise has qualified for the National Championships by winning its division in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League, FC Dallas will continue on to Overland Park, Kan. as Region III representatives.

Tennessee SC 16 also successfully defended its Region III title as it defeated Tampa Bay United Premier, 3-1, in the under-15 girls final. Tennessee’s Danielle Marcano had two goals, and Maddison Falter scored the winner on a volleyed off a cross from Anna Green.
