[NWSL REWIND: Week 13] Sky Blue FC opened up a four-point lead at the top of the NWSL thanks to a 1-0 win over the Washington Spirit and Portland Thorns FC's 2-0 loss at home to the Boston Breakers.

Mexican Monica Ocampo ran on to an open shot inside the top of the box after Danesha Adams had her shot blocked in the 74th minute for the game's only goal. The win snapped Sky Blue's three-game winless streak.

Sydney Leroux added to her league lead with her ninth and 10th goals of the season to beat Portland before 12,436 fans at JELD-WEN Field. Both goals came on assists from Heather O’Reilly.

Thorns FC attempted a season-high 20 shots but could not beat goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher. It hasn't scored since a 2-0 win over Seattle on June 16.
