[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] Matt Eliason's incredible overhead kick on an entry pass from Thierry Henry gave the current GE Capital analyst, and leading scorer in Northwestern University history, the thrill of a lifetime in Lionel Messi's charity game.

Messi did OK for himself with four goals in a 9-6 victory in the Chicago edition of his Messi & Friends vs. The Rest of the World charity tour, and several other Northwestern players were used to fill out thin rosters, but a bike kick by an Illinois native was the highlight.

Eliason played his last game for the Wildcats in 2010, he was invited to the 2011 MLS combine but couldn’t catch on, although he clearly hasn’t forgotten what to do with the ball once he touches it, getting congratulations from Florent Malouda and Henry for his incredible goal.

With only one chance to be on the same field with Leo Messi and Thierry Henry, hard to bring home a memory better than this ...
