Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery believes that this could be the year that he wins the coveted FIFA Ballon d’Or award, given annually to the world’s best player.

The France international said he is unlikely to have a better season than he did for the German treble winner last year.

"The Ballon d'Or? One could say that it's now or never for me. I have had a very good season," Ribery told Kicker.
