[USL PRO REWIND: Week 18] Orlando City defeated the Harrisburg City Islanders, 3-1, Saturday night before 7,311 fans at the Florida Citrus Bowl to open up a four-point lead over the Richmond Kickers at the top of USL PRO. Midfielder Jean Alexandre scored two goals in his return from national team play with Haiti at the Gold Cup.

Dennis Chin added a third goal in the 71st minute before Lucky Mkosano pulled one back for Harrisburg eight minutes later.

“I thought first half we played terrific and played a lot of really good football,” said Orlando City coach Adrian Heath. “We dropped off in the second half but after all the travel and games we’ve played recently, the upcoming break is coming at the right time.“

-- The Pittsburgh Riverhounds fell to reigning English FA Cup champion Wigan Athletic, 4-1. Jose Angulo scored in the third minute, but the Latics answered with two goals in each half to win.

Friday ...

The Richmond Kickers blew a chance to take the USL PRO lead from Orlando City but remained unbeaten thanks a 2-2 tie at Phoenix on Shane Johnson's goal in stoppage time.

Tommy Ramos scored goals in the 23rd and 45th minutes to give Phoenix FC a 2-0 lead at halftime, but William Yomby pulled a goal back for the Kickers in the 67th minute and Johnson equalized with a shot past goalkeeper Neal Kitson, who was making his debut for Phoenix.

-- Goals from Lucky Mkosana and loan player Jimmy McLaughlin gave the Harrisburg City Islanders a 2-0 win at VSI Tampa Bay FC that moved them up two spots into third place.
