As we continue reviewing the best goals scored in Europe’s top leagues last season, today we focus on the Netherlands, and after seeing the deft touches required on some of the most delicate goals scored anywhere this year, you may become convinced the chip shot was invented in Holland, instead of the British Open.

Jozy Altidore’s now at Sunderland, but his terrific stop-start at AZ Alkmaar last season gets things started. Highly coveted 21-year-old Christian Eriksen, who is said to be on his way to AC Milan from Ajax, displays incredible accuracy on a curling finish, while his fellow Danish national team member at Ajax, 19-year-old Viktor Fischer, was one of several players showing off incredible touch, and deadly precision, on chipped golazos in the Eredivisie last season…
