[PDL: Playoffs] The Thunder Bay Chill claimed the PDL regular-season championship for the first time in its history and will also be one of four hosts for the conference Championships. Also hosting are the Austin Aztex, Ocean City Nor’easters and Ventura County Fusion. The playoffs begin Tuesday with five divisional matchups, including a Cascadia Cup match between the Portland Timbers U-23s against Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-23.
The Chill's tie with WSA Winnipeg Friday night opened up the door for the Fresno Fuego to claim the regular-season title with a victory in the final game of the regular season on Sunday night against the LA Misioneros. But the Misioneros beat the Fuego 1-0.

Besides the four hosts and the Fuego, other teams through this weekend's conference semifinals are the Real Colorado Foxes, Forest City London and Victoria Highlanders FC.
