[MLSREWIND: Week 22] In Sunday's only match, the Seattle Sounders got a must-win when they rallied for a goal down to beat Chivas USA, 2-1. The Sounders began the day in eighth place in the Western Conference, ahead of only Chivas USA, but moved to within four points of the playoff zone with two games in hand. Saturday's action featured three games decided in stoppage time, plus a big win for surging Colorado.

-- The wildest game was in New York, where the Red Bulls blew a 2-0 lead and overcame a Alvaro Saborio hat trick to beat Real Salt Lake, 4-3, on Dax McCarty's diving header in the 94th minute.

-- In Montreal,Blake Smith scored in the 96th minute to give the Impact a 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City and reduce its lead to one point over the Red Bulls and Impact at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

-- Andrew Wiedeman's goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time gave Toronto FC a 2-1 over the Columbus Crew for Toronto's first win of the season at BMO field. Jonathan Osorio had tied the score for the Reds in the 87th minute.

-- Saturday's big winner was Colorado, which jumped four spots into second place in the Western Conference with a deserved 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy.

ALSTON COMEBACK. Kevin Alston played his first game for the New England Revolution since taking time off for treatment of a rare form of leukemia he learned he had in April. Alston came on late in the Revs' 2-1 win at D.C. United. If was a homecoming of sorts for Alston, who grew up in the Maryland area before heading off to U-17 Residency and then Indiana University.
