[GUINNESS INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP] AC Milan kicked off the Guinness International Champions Cup with a 2-1 win over Valencia at Mestalla Stadium in Valencia. It moves to the United States for the remainder of the quarterfinals, beginning with Wednesday's quarterfinal match between Everton and Juventus in San Francisco.

Action continues Thursday with the MLS champion LA Galaxy against Real Madrid at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., and Chelsea against Inter Milan in Indianapolis.
