[SOUTHERN: Women] Furman edged Samford by just one point in the Southern Conference women’s coaches preseason poll. The Paladins also led the way with five selections, including Stephanie DeVita, the reigning SoCon Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, on the SoCon preseason all-conference team.
