[CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Week 3] Alajuelense became the first team to knock off a Mexican club in the 2013-14 edition of the Concacaf Champions League when it won, 1-0, on Alvaro Sanchez's penalty kick with eight minutes left in the game. The result left Alajuelense, Club America and Sporting San Miguelito of Panama all even in Group 4 with three points.
