Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel recently examined the charges that Chivas USA owner Jorge Vergara ordered changes at the MLS club that were allegedly intended to benefit only those of Mexican heritage.

The HBO show is back with a decidedly different look at another MLS club. On Tuesday, it will examine the phenomenal success of the Seattle Sounders and talk to two of the club's co-owners, Hollywood mega-mogul Joe Roth and comedian Drew Carey.

The show will air on HBO for the first time on Tuesday at 10-11 p.m. ET/PT. Other air dates will follow on HBO, HBO2 and HBO on Demand.

OZZIE'S WORLD. This week’s episode of MLS Insider features Seattle Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso and his move to the United States from Cuba as well as an in-depth look at Real Salt Lake’s quest for the 2011 Concacaf Champions League title. The show will air Friday on NBCSN at 7:30 p.m. ET. It will be followed later in the evening by Seattle-Real Salt Lake on NBCSN at 10 p.m. ET.

HOWARD FACES CHELSEA ON NBC. U.S. national team goalkeeper Tim Howard returns to action for Everton against undefeated Chelsea on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The Saturday 10 a.m. ET window on NBCSN features Sunderland with Jozy Altidore against Arsenal and its recent club-record signing, German international Mesut Ozil, in his EPL debut.

BROOKS IN FRIDAY ACTION. John Brooks, the 21-year-old central defender, left the U.S. national team camp before the Mexico game to return to German club Hertha Berlin. Part of the reason is that Brooks should be called into action Friday (GolTV, 2:30 p.m. ET) as Hertha faces VfB Stuttgart in key test for the promoted club.

E:60: THE ASSIST. During a soccer game in December 2009, 8-year-old Chris Hegardt was struck in the stomach by the ball and fell ill. Cancerous tumors in his liver, ruptured by the ball’s impact, were revealed after he was hospitalized for tests. ESPN’s Tom Friend reports on Hegardt’s liver transplant and return to the field for the San Diego Surf for "E:60: The Assist: Chris Hegardt." (Click here to view the 13-minute documentary.)
